Interview with Marina, Holiday and Callie— Answering some questions!

Interviewer: We're so glad you three could come to this interview! We hope we're not taking too much time off of your schedules.Marina: It was pretty last-minute, but I was able to report anything I had today for this interview! (Sorry, Pearlie...)Callie: Yeah! I didn't have a show tonight or anything, so it's all good!Holiday: Agh, I'm with two idols I really admire... I'm so nervous...Callie: Oh, relax, silly! We don't bite!Marina: Yeah, I'm sure this interview will be a lot of fun, Holiday! Hehe.(Silence.)Marina: Um...Interviewer: Let's just get started with the interview. First question; how did you three become idols? What's your story?Callie: Oh, it's simple! The whole bizz with the Squid Sisters started back when we were kids. We won this silly talent show and got recruited!Marina: My career started when I met Pearlie on Mount Nantai. She was so cool... I just had to start a band with her! It's so amazing how someone as talented and precious as my Pearlie accepted to form Off The Hook with me...Callie: Hellooo, Earth to Marina!Marina: Ah! Right... What about you, Holiday? What's your story?Holiday: Well, It's a bit tough to catch, so bare with me for a sec.
When I first came to NMC, I saw Sunrise performing a song on the streets and Twilight joined her all of a sudden. They were so fresh, ya'know I just HAD to offer some songs!Callie: Wow! It was THAT easy?Holiday: Not at all, Cal... They were kinda judgin' me 'till I pulled out THIS IS A SONG. That's when they let me in the group and stuff. Splat On's demo was made, like, 2 months later.Marina: Ooh, Splat On! That song is like ear candy. It's totally my vibe!Holiday: (Oh- really? That's.. that's great.. hehe-) I MEAN- Thanks, girl! I gotta admit, it's a BANGERRRRRR!Callie: You said it!Interviewer: It's interesting to find out about all these different stories!Callie: True that! We're kinda all different but also super similar story-wise.Marina: I wouldn't go that far...Holiday: Yeaahh, me neither.Interviewer: Now, a question for Holiday; who came up with Daylove's costumes?Holiday: Oh, it was all Sunrise! She thought of them and made them for us herself! Well, except for Twilight's poncho and my- uhm... What's the word for [???] again?Callie: The word for what now?Holiday: This thing... the golden thingmabob with the star I wear in my idol fit.Marina: Ohhh, your chain!Holiday: YEAH! My chain! That and Twilight's poncho were my idea. Felt like it'd spice up our costumes, y'know? My bad, still getting used to the language and stuff.Callie: Oh, I thought you were from around here? Are you not an Inkling?Holiday: Nah... I'm a manta ray.Callie: OOOOHHHH. Now THAT makes a bunch more sense!Holiday: What's that mean?!Interviewer: Ahem. This next one goes out to Marina. Rumours have spread about a certain 'Memverse' that may or may not have been created by you. Can you enlighten us on this?Marina: Really... Well, the Memverse was originally a world I created to help inkfish get their memories back. However, after a certain... event, I decided to rework it for another purpose. I'll make a new world, a digital world where certain people's souls can live when their bodies can't go on anymore.Holiday: Hm... What about the gang in the real world? Can they also go there without gettin' splatted?Marina: Yup! They just have to play a certain track... I'll get to that later, though.Holiday: That could be useful...Interviewer: Interesting... Anyway, it seems that a while ago, THIS IS A NEW SONG was released. What's the backstory of this unexpected collab?Callie: My idea! He seemed chill, so I kinda asked to collab without telling Marie. The poor guy was so shy, it was lowkey funny.Holiday: Wha- Heyyy, don't call me out like that!Callie: Hehehe. We should totes collab again sometime, though!Marina: Ooh, idea! What if we all made a song together?!Callie: YES, ABSOLUTELY!Holiday: Agh, it would be such an honor! I'm a tad scared of what the others will think though.Callie: Well I contacted Sunny before the collab and she didn't care, so like...Holiday: YOU WHA- Oh. Phew, then.Marina: Great, then! I'll have a lot of fun collabing with you two, hehe.(Another awkward silence.)Interviewer: Now you're overusing it.Marina: Sorry.Interviewer: All right, last question for Holiday. What's up with your back hair? We've noticed it moving around a bunch throughout this interview and other medias.Holiday: That's just some condition I have. This thing kinda just.. has a mind of it's own. Feels the same emotions I do though.Marina: Ohhh, mine does that too! I thought it was only Octolings.Holiday: Well, yeah, nornally it is, so you ain't wrong.Interviewer: You three are all similar but different in your own ways! It's no wonder you all get along well.Holiday: Ooouh, yeah, truth. We barely met and we're already finding stuff we have in common...Marina: Yeah, it's wonderful to meet people who are just like you, but unique in their own ways. They feel more like people.Callie: Are we doing wonder puns now?! Sign me up, please!Interviewer: Ahaha. I'm afraid this is all the time we've got today, but it was nice getting to know this trio.
